The Prison Ministry reaches out to the incarcerated with the love of Christ to provide spiritual uplifting. They correspond with inmates within the local, state, and federal judicial system through cards and letters. In writing letters to inmates, we need the correct spelling of their name, address, and inmate number. The ministry regularly visits the Schaffner Youth Detention Center to reach out to the young people. To initiate visitation or spiritual guidance to loved ones in local facilities, please contact the Prison Ministry, who coordinates a team of ministers authorized to make visits to these facilities through the institution’s chaplaincy office.
